What does "Grow with Tidio" mean to you?
It means progress. Personal & professional growth.
It means ambitions. Big results require big aspirations.
It means being better today than yesterday. Being the best version of myself.
IMO grow with Tidio is not a slogan. It's an environment for creative, challenging progress.
What was the turning point where you knew you 'had to have the job' at Tidio?
Scale. Scale. Scale. There's nothing more demotivating in a Product Management job than building a product that none really uses or has just a few clients. It's difficult to test assumptions fast when the company just began to bud. When I researched how many people interact with the product, I quickly decided to go all-in for it (and it more than doubled since I joined!). It's the place where I can cultivate a "launch first, iterate later" approach.
At Tidio, we can work 100% remotely, and we also have access to our two offices in Szczecin and in Warsaw. What is your favorite way of working?
From spending every workday in the Warsaw office to visiting the Szczecin's one to moving to sunny Sicily for a few months. I love that Tidio understands that it doesn't really matter where you are until you deliver outcomes. My favorite way of working is flexible working. Anything that boosts my productivity is worth trying :)
What has been the most important moment for you working at Tidio so far?
Hope it doesn't sound cliche, but building a fantastic relationship with peers. Even though we work remotely most of the time (+ meet from time to time offline), I'm extremely glad that we successfully built bonds. We care about each other. We are interested in each other. We don't just do our jobs from 9 to 5 and dream about weekends. To be honest, I think most of Tidioers dream about Monday. I'm definitely one of them :)
Any tips for someone looking to get into a career like yours?
Engage in as many different activities as possible. Get to know people. Don't be afraid to fail. Experiment. There's no one path for becoming a Product Manager. PMs usually come from different backgrounds, and it's their advantage. Building a product is a complex process that requires interdisciplinary knowledge. Learn & experience lots of different things, and you are so in there.
What are your hobbies? What do you love to do after work?
Sailing & juggling.
Sailing - because it is all about the set of the sails, not the direction of the wind that determines which way you will go.
Juggling - because it's my personal form of meditation.
