We strive to use the skills of each team member to the fullest (e.g., soft skills like empathy, which allows us to understand the user's emotions, or technical skills, which in turn helps personalize our services to any customer).

How do you organize your work as a team?

We provide our support 24h a day from Monday to Friday, while during the weekends we answer our users' inquiries via emails. We offer help to all of our users via a chat widget installed on our website www.tidio.com as well as through the same chat widget visible in every Tidio admin panel. Our Customer Success Managers work with their clients on demand.

Tidio Product is innovating and bringing AI transformation to previously stale and rather conservative Customer Service industry. As designers at Tidio we are at the forefront of those changes and have unique problems ahead of us.

Tidio is a fast-growing scale up that has changed a lot throughout last 5 years. Our design have to be very receptive and swift to adapt to changes. It means that oftentimes we are challenged to design concepts outside of our comfort zone, but we can count on each other and if needed we meet and organise design sprint to tackle hardest challenges.

Our design Team is like no other. We like each other, respect each other, value each other and whenever we meet you can see that as a Team we got each other's backs. Team is diverse and has different point of views, but every person brings their perspective aiming to improve the solution. In the end we know we are together trying to solve the problem.

How do you organize your work as a team?

Design Team is split into two pods - Product Design, where designers are working with their assigned product teams, and Visual Design, that works across multiple external and internal brand touch points varying from marketing, through web up to employer branding.

What tools do you use as a team?

Figma is life. We use it for our everyday work, that's where all our files are being stored and where we maintain our unique design system. We do as well use full Adobe Suite or Jitter where Figma is not capable enough yet.

What metrics tell you you’re doing a good job?

We don't like to separate design from the business we work with. That's why Product Designers work with their respective Product Teams and the goal of the designer are no different than the goal of the Team they work with daily. For the Visual Design we are part of the larger ecosystem of marketing and comms, where our key KPIs are aligned with common acquisition metrics.

What do you like doing together?

We like to have fun and as we work hard we play hard as well. Our distributed Team works from multiple cities and countries, so we don't have a luxury to meet too often, but we try to gather as a group every 3-6 months and when we do, we like to have a good dinner, have a drink or seven, sing, dance or just talk and laugh.

Finance & Operations

Greetings! Welcome to the F&O headquarters! 👋

We are a highly-skilled, multi-talented team that supports Tidio with financial and legal advice. Our most significant focus is providing financial analysis and recommendations for business decisions. We manage investor relations and the company's cash flows, as well as salaries, invoices, and settlements. We also administrate various R&D projects and support our HR team with documentation. You could say that at the end of the day, we're the wizards keeping all Tidio's formal wheels turning smoothly.

How do you organize your work as a team?

We communicate on a daily basis via our Slack channels, via Google Meet, and phone. We update our work in teams once a week during online meetings and biweekly we have our “F&O Talks,” where we share ideas and do some brainstorming to improve the department. We meet roughly every two months in one of the offices, where we delegate work and carry out 1-on-1 meetings.

We start our week with a longer team sync meeting online. We focus on our individual work during the other weekdays and keep in touch with each other via Slack. We also tend to meet for a shorter informal meeting over a digital cup of coffee on a regular basis. What’s more, every 3 months we meet as a whole team for a 3 day-long PC Summit.

Our work as well as the work of any other Tidioer is based around OIT (Objective, Indicators, Tasks) every quarter we create. This way, we know what to prioritize and focus on, and we can put some number on it. One of our key metrics is eNPS - an employee-centric index of how likely Tidioers are to recommend working in our organization to their friends.

What tools do you use as a team?

We keep tabs on key metrics for our team and organization using a mix of tools. This involves checking in on things like how well people get along with their managers, if their growth needs are met, and whether they feel valued and happy. We use engagement surveys through Bob, our HR system, to stay on top of this. Our hiring plans are thought out well in advance, so it’s not a „go with the flow” strategy. But the real cool stuff happens in Tableau. There, we get live dashboards that show us everything from how candidates are feeling to important recruitment stats and how our employer brand is doing.

Product

Hello! We’re the product heroes! 👋

We ensure to build the right things in the right way. We are accountable for implementing product strategy, building the roadmap, and identifying problems worth solving. We choose what gets built, promote what is new, and measure performance. Our duties include strategic thinking around Customer Service (and beyond!) and executing discovery and delivery processes.

The customer-centric areas we work on include synchronous communication (multichannel chat, flows, Lyro) & asynchronous communication (ticketing, mailing). All tied with actionable data delivered with web, mobile and desktop apps.

All the work related to ideation, validation, and results measurement takes place in collaboration with the rest of the Product team, including Product Managers, Product Designers, UX Researchers. The execution, though is where the SCRUM teams jump in. Those teams consist of a Product Managers, Developers, QA, Designer, and UX Researcher.

If your team was an animal, what would it be and why?

So far, we have thought of two different spirit animals for two reasons. The first could be a mountain goat, as we explore beyond the boundaries and take it one mountain at a time. The second option could be a pod of dolphins, as we work together using communication, intelligence, and agility to navigate through challenges and achieve the objectives of our customers.
