Curious by Nature, Automated by Choice: Krzysiek’s Marketing Automation Journey

Hi! My name is Krzysiek.

I’d describe myself as a one-man technical and marketing army. I’ve been in the industry for about 4 years, and at Tidio I work as a Marketing Automation Specialist. On a daily basis, I handle emails, automations, integrations, and all technical aspects related to the sales and marketing stack. I work closely with the sales team to ensure Tidio’s continued growth! 🚀

What does "Grow with Tidio" mean to you?

I see it as a continuous process of discovery and learning: new tools, apps, frameworks, and approaches. In my opinion, that’s what it’s all about: always being ready to grow and learn something new. By doing my job well, I ensure that, in addition to Tidio I’m growing too, and that’s the best part!

What is your favorite part of your role?

My favorite part of my job is definitely creating automations and then watching them work! The amount of time saved, the number of new leads, sales calls - all of that drives me to keep going. And if something isn’t working right, I like to “tinker” with the process to find the cause!

I also enjoy optimizing various processes. If I notice something that isn’t as efficient or could work better, I’ll usually suggest a better option. I like to put myself in our users’ shoes and try to think like them to optimize our campaigns.

How would you describe Tidio to your best friend?

This place is just WOW - seriously! Tidio really offers a lot to its employees! Autonomy, the chance to bring your own ideas to life, incredible opportunities for growth, team-building events (with delicious food), the best hardware and software, the option to work remotely, and the trust they place in their employees (you just have to deliver results) - that’s just the beginning of the list.

I almost forgot - the people are great, too. Whenever I go to the office, there’s always a super friendly atmosphere!

So what are you waiting for? Come join me at Tidio!

Any tips for someone looking to get into a career like yours?

Start by creating a personal development blog - that’s how I got started. I ran it for almost a year, and thanks to that, I learned programming and marketing to the point where I even landed my first client! 😄

But seriously, just do your own thing, not specifically to build a great product or a startup, but just to see and learn how it all works: the various tools, apps, marketing, and so on. You don’t even have to come up with anything. You can try copying an existing product, website, or campaign, and by doing that, you’ll learn a lot. That’s the best advice I can give!

What are your hobbies? What do you love to do after work?

I’ve always been a sports freak – I used to play soccer for many years, but now I take it easier, mainly working out at the gym and calisthenics, doing some cool moves on the pull-up bar. Lately, I’ve really gotten into tennis. Besides that, I try to live as healthily as possible. I guess you could call it biohacking.

Outside of Tidio, I also work on various personal projects, and I’m interested in the stock market and trading (I even trade a little bit).
