All the work related to ideation, validation & results measurement takes place in collaboration with the rest of the product team, including Product Managers, Designers, UX Researchers, and Product Analysts. The execution though is where the SCRUM teams jump in. Those teams consist of a Product Owner, Developers, QA, Designer & UX Researcher.

Of course, as befits Tidioers, every quarter, we create our individual and team OITs (Objective, Indicators, and Tasks) that help us make the right decisions, stay engaged, and improve our overall results.

One of our key metrics and a Pole Star of all our marketing activities is CLV - Customer Lifetime Value.

Finance & Operations
Hi! We’re the Finance & Operations team! ! 👋

Are you curious what we do? What we don't do, that's the real question 😎We are generally able to bend space and time but if you really want to know the details, our responsibilities cover: taking care of salaries, invoices and settlements, managing the company's cash flows and securing liquidity position, providing tax, accounting and legal compliance across all areas. Some days we also administrate R&D projects and check HR documentation. On the operations side of things we also manage the office budget, arrange business trips for Tidioers and keep the high quality supplies at our sites. But then these are just a few... we truly are a highly skilled, multitalented team that can literally take on anything 😇

How do you organize your work as a team?

Our team is scattered all over Poland. Therefore, we communicate on a daily basis via our Slack channels, via Zoom and phone. We update our work in teams once a week during online meetings and once a month we have our “F&O Talks”, where we share ideas and do some brainstorming to improve the department. We meet roughly every two months in one of the offices, where we delegate work and carry out 1-1 meetings.

What do you value as a team?
+
-

As a team we believe that it is easier to work together when we trust each other. Everyone has their own tasks they are responsible for – that’s why we all say in unison, that the most important value for us is to take ownership. In finance it’s absolutely essential as even a small mistake can make a biiiig difference 😉

What do you like doing together?

We are all huge foodies, so when we have team meetings, we usually pick a nice restaurant to go to, catch up and have a good time 🤗

FAQ

Questions?
We are happy to answer!

So what do you exactly do? :) I would like to know more!
+
-

Our activities touch upon the whole journey of a person in contact with our organization. We start from the moment when someone is not looking for a job but we would like to let them know that Tidio is a great place to work. Here we focus on creating brand awareness, communicating what working at Tidio really means, etc. What follows next are the tasks involving recruitment of new talents to Tidio, so carrying out interviews, delivering feedback, being a bridge between the candidates and hiring managers and then effective onboarding of new employees.

A big chunk of our team effort is dedicated to stimulating the growth of current Tidioers – organizing feedback workshops, training for leaders,  projects such as Buddy Program or Tidio Ambassadors. As the name of our team suggests, we also take care of nurturing the company’s culture by organizing team integrations, annual Tidio Camp, managing various wellbeing initiatives, and stimulating effective cross-company communication.

This is obviously just the tip of the iceberg but hopefully, it gives you an idea of how multifunctional and necessary our work is 😎

How do you organize your work as a team?
+
-

We start our week with a longer team sync meeting online. We focus on our individual work during the other weekdays and keep in touch with each other via Slack. We also tend to meet for a shorter informal meeting over a (digital) cup of coffee on regular basis. What’s more, every 6 months we meet as a whole team for a 3 day-long PC Summit where we carry out

How many team members do you currently have?
+
-

We’re currently a team of 12 ✌️ Sounds like a lot? It only shows how important people are at Tidio and how many initiatives we organize to make their life easier and fulfilled here.

Do you have any metrics you follow to know that you are doing a good job?
+
-

Our work as well as the work of any other Tidioer is based around OIT (Objective, Indicators, Tasks) that we agree on every quarter. In this way, we know what to prioritize, what to focus on and we can put some number on it. One of our key metrics is eNPS so an employee-centric index of how likely Tidioers are to recommend working in our organization to their friends.

What tools do you use as a team?
+
-

We are using a couple of tools to check the crucial metrics for the organization and our team.

We make sure (measure) that people have good relationships with managers, their development needs are met, peers support each other in reaching the business goals, they are recognized for their work, and generally, they feel well and happy. Officevibe is a good tool to help with that.

Our quarterly and yearly hiring plans are well-thought-out and we know how many recruitment processes will be rolled out. So it’s not a „go with the flow” strategy.

But the real magic is happening in Tableau, where we can find live dashboards related to candidate experience (our goal is 8,5 out of 10), all the most important metrics for the recruitment process and EB.

What do you value as a team?
+
-

Obviously, as Tidioers we share the company values. On top of that, we value fairness and transparency. Both in terms of collaborating as a team and maintaining relations with candidates or employees from other teams.

What do you like doing together?

We’re big fans of pets. Our dream team integration is to take alpacas for a long walk...
